AI iViews not working when located in Dynamic Navigation

Symptom
When trying to perform an action in an AI iView (e.g. – BSP, WebDynpro ABAP and etc…) that located in Dynamic Navigation area, a session error from the backend is thrown (Session expired).

Reason and Prerequisites
Prerequisites:
- AI iView is located in the Dynamic Navigation.
- SAP NetWeaver version:
- 7.00 SP19 and below.
- 7.01 SP4 and below.
Reason:
The DSM Terminator component was included in to the client after the AI iView (located in the Dynamic Navigation area) registered to the DSM so a termination request was sent to the backend immediately after the DSM component was included.
This situation leads to backend session error once trying to perform an action in the application.
Solution
Fix will be available in the following versions:
- SAP NetWeaver 7.00 SP20.
- SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SP5.
