Configure UWL to work with PC tasks (PC Work Inbox in UWL)

Symptom

You want to receive PC 3.0 work items/tasks in the Universal Worklist

Solution

Setup your portal system object to the PC backend as described in the PC install guide and note the system alias you define.
Then go to your PC Portal to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist & Workflow -> Universal Worklist – Administration
Click on the “New” button and create a new system connection with type “WebFlowConnector” using the same alias as you entered for the portal system object.
Click the “Register” button.
Now download the attached XML and edit following values in that file:
-itemType Name
-systemid
to match your system alias.
Save the file and in the UWL administration (same Portal navigation path as above) upload your modified XML thru the
“Click to Manage Item Types and View Definitions” link.
There, click the “Upload New Configuration” tab. Enter a unique name for your configuration in the “Configuration Name:” field (e.g.
uwl.webflow.SAP_GRM.custom) and upload your XML.
Your PC tasks are now visible in the UWL.
NOTE: the PC tasks in the UWL have a different name/link as opposed to the PC inbox but when opened display the same information!
