OBN is not working in new window scenario

Symptom
OBN will not work when executed from an application that was opened in a new standalone window.
There are three ways to open an iView in a new window:
1) In the property editor: configure the property ‘Launch in New Window’ to ‘Display In Separate Window’ .
2) In the page title bar tray choose ‘Open in new [...]
