Installing or Updating the Web Page Composer (WPC).
The following procedures describe the installation and update of WPC. Depending on the current release of your SAP system, apply the appropriate procedure from the ones listed below:

Installation and Update procedures relevant for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SPS13 and higher
Prerequisites
You have installed the Enterprise Portal (EP) usage type with Knowledge Management.
Installing the Web Page Composer for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SPS13 and higher
There is a separate WPC deployment package for each SPS of SAP NetWeaver 7.0, starting with SPS 13. All the deployment packages are available on SAP Service Marketplace (SMP).
1. Download the WPC package for the relevant SPS from SMP.
Find the package at service.sap.com -> SAP Support Portal -> Downloads -> SAP Software Distribution Center -> Download -> Support Packages and Patches -> Entry by Application Group -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 -> PORTAL ADD-ON SAP NW 7.0 -> Web Page Composer -> KMC WEB PAGE COMPOSER 7.00 -> #OS independent.2. Start JSPM and deploy the SCA file as a “New Software Component”.

Updating the Web Page Composer to a higher SPS level
In order to update an existing WPC installation to a higher SPS, perform the standard update for the relevant SP stack first. After that, proceed as follows:
1. Download the WPC package for the relevant SPS from SMP. Use path as above.
For an update, use the same package as for a new installation. The new package will overwrite the previous installation.2. Start JSPM and deploy the SCA file using the option “Single Support Packages”.

CAUTION:
To update WPC from SAP NetWeaver 7. 0 SPS 13 to a higher SPS of SAP NetWeaver 7.0, perform the following two additional steps after you have finished with the procedure described above.Run a content migration report in KM.
This report will migrate the standard web resources created with WPC SP13. For more information about the content migration procedure, see SAP Note 1135274.Reassign the relevant users and groups to the Web Page Composer Editor role. The role is located in:
pcd:portal_content/com.sap.folder.wpc/wpc_roles/wpc_editor_role
Users, who are not reassigned to the WPC edit role, lose editing rights.

Updating the Web Page Composer to Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0
The following procedure describes how to update an existing Web Page Composer (WPC) installation to Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0.
