Solution

List of major corrections for named SP version:
Collaboration Rooms: Previously, private room groups did not appear in the search result list unless you were a member of the corresponding rooms. Even the users with administrator privileges (Content Admin, System Admin, Super Admin, and User Admin) were not able to search for a private room if they were not room members. Now, the users with administrator privileges can search for private rooms without being members of these rooms.Collaboration Rooms: Previously, it was possible that IRFCEngineService.KEY contained only the name of the service, and not the whole path. As a result, the system displayed an “LSO_COL_* not found” error message and logged the following entry in the log files: “Caused by: com.sapportals.portal.prt.service.ServiceException: Service not found: RFCEngine”. Now the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 1296202.Collaboration Rooms: Previously, the additional room parts were represented by a folder and not directly displayed in the detailed navigation. Now, the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 1136710.Collaboration Rooms: Previously, it was not possible to append user signatures to the e-mails sent by cRooms. Now you can configure the system to append user signatures to invitations, revoked invitations and membership requests. The issue is fixed.Content Management: Previously, when trying to check in a document using the DocApplet iView, an error after choosing the “Check In Now” pushbutton occurred. Now, the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 801913.Groupware: Previously, when the WebDAV transport protocol was used for connecting to a Microsoft Exchange Server, Single Sign-On did not work even after installing a Kerberos filter on the Microsoft Exchange Server successfully. Now the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 1271644, and SAP Note 736644.Knowledge Management: Previously, after deleting an LDAP user, the notifications relevant for that user were not deleted in the database. Now, the system deletes the notifications successfully.Knowledge Management: Previously, an exception was thrown when a user or group had an invalid e-mail address or channel. Now, for each envalid e-mail address or channel, the system writes a warning message in the log files and continues sending the e-mails. More information: SAP Notes 815729, 1016283.Knowledge Management: Previously, due to an error in DocApplet, the files were truncated. Now, the files are no longer truncated after a direct check-in attempt. The issue is fixed.Knowledge Management: Previously, it was not possible to limit the number of users for collaboration rooms, subscriptions, approval workflow, and “Send To” e-mails. That was a potential reason for server downtime in cases when too many users were added or too many e-mails were sent. Now the issue is fixed and you can configure the maximum allowed users. More information: SAP Note 1303189, SAP Note 1303189, SAP Note 1291383.Repository Framework: Previously, some notification e-mails were not sent due to the configuration not being compliant with the security standards. The owner was not able to check who had been assigned the appropriate permissions and who had subscribed for notifications. Now the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 880578 and SAP Note 808756.Repository Framework: Previously, when a link resource with an extension in its display name was pointing to a document resource without an extension, a user without read permissions for the target resource was able to see the link but the system displayed it without any indication that it was a link (for example, with an icon for a regular resource). Now the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 1273454.Repository Framework: Previously, even though the user was able to display a link to a document in the UI collection without having permissions for that document, “AccessDeniedException” was logged in the default trace. After the fix, this exception is logged with severity level WARNING. More information: SAP Note 1310739.Repository Framework: Previously, the multivalue properties were not logged by the activity reporting service. Now the issue is fixed.Repository Manager: Previously, when you tried to rename a folder that is mapped to the portal drive through Microsoft Windows Explorer, an error occurred and the system displayed the following error message: Error 5, access denied. But if you tried to rename the same folder directly in KM, the problem did not occur. Now the issue is fixed.Repository Manager: Previously, the upload of Microsoft Office 2007 documents (for example, DOCX, PPT, XLSX files, and so on.) was not available because of changed MIME types of the Microsoft Office 2007 files. Now you can upload such files. More information: SAP Note 1301401.Repository Services: Previously, the search in the subscription cleanup report was case sensitive and placeholders were not allowed. Now the search is case insensitive and placeholders are allowed.Repository Services: Previously, after moving a resource from one folder to another, its technical name was displayed in the subscription notifications. After the fix, the correct display name is displayed.Repository Services: Previously, Admin notifications were not sent to the recipients without read access to the parent folder of the resource for which the subscription had been created. Now the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 1322697.Subscription: Previously, the subscription notification displayed the technical name if the resource was renamed. Now the issue is solved. More information: SAP Note 1044125.Subscriptions and Approval Workflow: Previously, it was not possible to customize the subject line of subscription and approval workflow e-mails. Now the issue is fixed and the subject lines in e-mails sent by KMC subscription and state management services can be customized with additional parameters. More information: SAP Note 1303074.Universal Worklist: Previously, the system crashed and wrote an OutOfMemory exception in the log files if too many notifications per user were stored in ActionInbox and Universal Worklist. Now the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 1280230.User Interface: Previously, when choosing the Delete Permanently pushbutton in the Deleted Items dialog box, the items disappeared from the dialog box but remained in the repository. Now the issue is fixed. More information: SAP Note 1280934.User Interface: Previously, when creating a file directly in the file system or by using portal drive on FS or FSDB repository, the newly created resource had no display name in the Details dialog box. After the fix, the display name field is not empty any more. More information: SAP Note 1280851.User Interface: Previously, when the user had joined a discussion from the Details dialog box of a document and had displayed the branch of a particular post for a single discussion topic, but had then tried to display the entire topic list, the entire topic list tree was not displayed. Now the issue is fixed.User Interface: Previously, when you tried to preview the results of an already started Quick Poll with at least one vote, a runtime error occurred and a NullPointerException was logged in the default trace. In fact, that was not an editable Quick Poll, therefore the values were wrong. Now the correct values are used. More information: SAP Note 1298050.XML Forms: Previously, the XML forms were not locked when opened for editing. Therefore, the system allowed concurrent editing of an XML form by more than one users at a time. Now the issue is fixed and the XML forms are locked when opened for editing.
