Symptom

In the EHP4 Business Package for MSS 1.41 the Position Profile Page with the embedded position profile search iview is not working (i.e) the column information provided is that of an employee rather than the position. Therefore, the embedded iviews in the page does not retrieve any data or shown empty.

Missing Configuration.
Solution

In order to resolve the problem, please perform the changes as listed below. Please be advised that these changes has to be done manually.
1) Change the value of the Iview property “Group of Organizational Structure View” of the Position Profile Search Iview into ” MSS_POS_SEARCH “. Please be advised that the text is case sensitive. The Other two Iview properties “Organization Structure View” and “Organizational Structure Views with List Display in Navigation Area” should be left empty.
The standard delivery of the iview: “com.sap.pct.erp.mss.posprofile_positionsearch” is available under the following PCD path in the Portal.

2) Changes to the OADP column in the backend system as mentioned below.
a) In the View: V_TWPC_COL_ERP
b) Choose the column: ORG_STEXT
c) Check the “Event-Link” check box
