SAP EP – Netweaver Portal

Symptom
The Portal Data Viewer (PDV) was developed for EP5 and was not developed further for EP6 and EP7. No further developments are planned for the future. Therefore, the Portal Data Viewer in EP6 and EP7 must no longer be used for customer-specific new developments (SAP NetWeaver NW2004 or NW2004s). For this reason, the component was set to “deprecated” as of EP6. For more information about this, also see Note 860187. Support is provided only for EP5 iViews that are deployed under EP6. For EP5 iViews that are deployed under EP7 (and releases higher than EP7), release and support can no longer be provided.
