SAP EP – Netweaver Portal

Symptom
You can optionally install the forums application on SAP NetWeaver 2004 SPS20, SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SPS12 and higher, and SAP enhancement package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 .
As the forums application is not part of a support package stack, it is not integrated in the standard installation or upgrade processes. Therefore, if you want to use the forums application – you need to install or upgrade it separately.

Solution
Download the respective SCA files from the SAP Service Marketplace and deploy them to the SAP NetWeaver Portal.
The installation procedures as well as the upgrade specifications are described in the PDF files attached to this note.
Information on specific steps in case of a system copy are also attached.
