User Stamp field is tracked although no update occured – MDM

Symptom
This issue is relevant to MDM 5.5, MDM 7.1 SP00 and SP01.
You have a Qualified field of type “User Stamp” which is updated when changes are applied to fields it is monitoring. When using MDM Item Details iView to modify a Qualified link, the User Stamp field is updated, although none of the modifications were applied to any of the fields being monitored by the “User Stamp” field(even if these fields are not displayed in the iView itself).

Reason and Prerequisites
Since previously it was not possible to determine if a specific qualified link value changed, the qualified link with all its values, were updated in the repoisoty (including changed and unchanged values). This resulted in the above issue.
Solution
Starting with MDM 7.1 SP02, this issue has been solved.
