Symptom
You are trying to configure a MDM Portal iView and you are unable to find a certain field in the fields list although it is present in the repository Schema.

Reason and Prerequisites
MDM Portal iViews have language inheritance on the meta-data.
For example: You have a repository with 2 languages – English and German and a field named “TestEnglish” in English and “TestGerman” in German. If you are logged on to the Portal with English, when you try to select the fields that will be included this field in the iView you will see in the fields list as “TestEnglish”. If you are logged on to the Portal with German, when you try to select the fields that will be included this field in the iView you will see in the fields list as “TestGerman”.
Solution
Check to see that the field you are looking for in the fields list is named according to the language that you are logged as.
